So, I had never purchased from http://www.avastmarine.com/ssc/">http://www.avastmarine.com/ssc/</a> before.
I had a smaller kalk reactor that I needed to replace, so I check this one out.

It took about 4 days to arrive in NE Alabama via USPS ground.
The unit:
The basic unit is well made. It isn't OVER built by any means, but it is adequate for the job that it does, which is basically hold water.
The stirrer is simply an acrylic rod attached to a "stirrer" at the bottom. The motor for the unit is completely sealed in the top acrylic casing.
The motor top simply sits down on top of the main body. There are no thumb screws or locking mechanisms.
Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase of a kalk stirrer this size, particularly for under $200.
Recommended.
