Ok, I'm not gonna give the details, but my peppermint shrimp died! I was so attached to him. He was so awesome. He shed and I think he was vulnerable, and something got him. OMG! I wanna cry so badly!

Hey American Idol was on again last night....maybe it's all related!!

On a serious note....Really sorry for your loss. I went thru 3 peppermints.....all three were eaten by my cardinal right in front of me. Nothing I could do but sit back...watch and take pics.

Radha, are you SURE it's not a molt? I've sworn a thousand times that my cleaner shrimp was dead. Turns out it's a molt every time.

Nah, I don't hate my life. Just when my animals die! I will never replace my wonderful, beautiful Pepe`. He was molting, but, while he didn't have his shell or whatecer (he was soft) he was vulnerable, and something took a chunk outta him. I saw the body, meat and everything. My bristleworms were all over it, and I went somewhere, and now the body is gone!
