Increased output from RODI unit

I just noticed my RODI output is probably 50 to 100% greater than my waste water output. It is suppose to 1/5 of my waste water output. Nothing has changed regarding my set-up, water source etc. My media is about 6 months old (I make about 50 gallons of water a month).
I also store my unit under pressure (filled with water and sealed from both sides)
My dual line TDS unit is reading 0s before and after the DI. Any ideas or just enjoy the "performance" while it lasts?

LOL...Hence my question. I just noticed it a hour ago. I am going to measure the out put water volumes more precisely.

Did anything happen with your water pressure recently? Decent water pressure can affect the performance you get (but thinking about it, I don't know if pressure matters in the RODI - Waste Water ratio).

I would tear it all down and put it all back together...maybe a seal somewhere is flawed or and internal component of a cartridge is broken?? IDK but now im really curious

I just measured the ratio of waste water to "good: water, it is 2 to 1. So my original statement was highly inaccurate (so much for the eye-ball method). I am going to call the LFS and ask. It used to be 3 or 4 to 1. If interested, I will keep you posted. Thanks for your input!

good ones can do 3 waste to 1 good water. If pressure is too low not enough to go through the membrane the waste water ratio will go higher not lower like in your case.
I wish I had a 2 to 1 unit :)

check the membrane maybe, how old is it?

That membrane is toast, watch that DI, you will stil get 0 TDS if the di is good but it will go fast, and^ how old is it?

check your tds ratio!

+1 on the membrane being toast. Just troubleshoot a problem similar to what you have and it was a bad membrane.

After the membrane, but before the DI the TDS reading is 0, after the DI unit the reading is zero. I can't test right out of the tap. I will bring it to LFS tomorrow and get whatever I need. Thanks!

Here's my original post (for age and usage):

Take the probes from your inline TDS meter and dip them in some tap water to make sure they are reading correctly. 0 before and after seems a little odd, you might want to make sure it is reading correctly.

It could be that your ratio changed due to less waste production instead of more ro production . The flow re stricter may be fouled or clogged and not allowing the proper water quantity to be processed. This will happen from time to time and will show 0 Tds. But will foul the membrane at an extremely accelerated rate.
