Hey guys i am swapping my corals to my 125 from my 55 The 55 had power compacts coralife 4 65 wat bulbs bulbs were a year old, the new fixture Is a aquatic life 8 bulb fixture 39 wat. I ran the power compacts way to much dont tell me i know but i ran them almost all day long from 8 am till most days 12 am so 16 hours lol way to much but i never did fix my timer lol. I moved a toadstool who was sick a while back i had to cut him around the edge and do iodine dips but that was about two months ago he is recovering now and i moved a mushroom and one of my green zoa colonys small starting colony just bigger than a frag. Left to move over are more zoas and palys a galaxy coral hammers, frogspawn, another toadstool, purple star polyps, more mushrooms and xenia. What type of hours should i run on the light to not bleach the corals from the light increase?

the pre programed light timer the system came with is
700+ start9:00-end1700
420/460 start 8:00-20:00
led Start-20:00-end 6:00

I changed the 420/460 to go off at 18:00 and the led to end at 8:02

so thats ten hours of light from the 420/460 and 8 for the 700+ and a full night of led

You may want to adjust your times to suit when you'd more likely be home to see and enjoy the tank. My MH come on at 3:00pm and shut off at 10:30pm with 30 minutes of actinics before and after.
