Just picked these up from LFS....come vacuum sealed in little containers....no need to freeze....just remove from container and place on rock....the have omnivore and herbivore kinds....I'll let ya know how the fishies like....they also had another kind that came in liquid form in packets that you just tear and dump in....might should have gotten those considering I'm not one that likes using flakes or pellets just from the amount of phosphorus

I would imagine these would only be good for smaller tanks....about the size of a average frag disk....1.5-2" round.....larger fish and "reef safe" triggers would probably just take off with it for themselves.....

If this is the same product im thinking of its a round aluminum type disk with a removeable foil lid? I tried them but wasnt sure to remove from the metal pack or not - i tried both ways - the "gel" inside was really difficult to stay put and floated all over the tank making a mess. putting it all in there and just removing the foil lid made it just float around. I still have one left "if it is the same product" - Id like to see how you did it

ive been using the gel for a while now...my fish and coral love it.. i got a sample pack of the grazing block with a new instant ocean bucket i just picked up (by the way them going back to the pull lid sucks). i guess i'll give it a try and let you know what happens tommorrow.

No doubt.. Keep us up to date if ya would.. Tagging along

Also tagging along. I tried the gel packs but wasn't too impressed with it. I'd rather just thaw out some frozen.

Saw this today at Creation and thought about buying it, but wanted to see what other's experiences with this had been first being that I'm still a n00b.....

Tagging...
