sideeffects, hermits and bluelegs, any crab, died. 2nd treatment only. I presume despite a water change inbetween and GAC, there was some still in the water, 2nd dose boosted the levels, overwhelmed the crabs. a single dose may have been sufficient IMO. I did not see any after the first treatment, but read there was an egg stage, so the 2nd stage is to kill new hatches that were protected from the first... who knows. I didnt have many crabs.
another sideeffect, I had a nasty algea outbreak a week after treatment. not sure what it was, the dead crabs maybe(I didnt have many, all in the fuge, none in the display, so algea wasnt because they werent around to eat it)? dead pods? I still see pods, but its hard to compare before to after.
in any case, maybe not fatal, but Id say bothersome, causing slowed growth and dull color is very likely. given the ease of the interceptor treatment... unless you have a lot of crabs, its a no brainer to treat.
