I'm in need of legally aquiring some interceptor. If you can help, please PM me.
Thanks.

You need to visit a Vet and take a picture of your tank for their file.
They can write you a prescription.

Red bugs, not acro eating flatworms.

Dude, sorry to hear that you need some

If anyone else is curious... extra reading material about these insidious little buggers

It is not being made right now so it is hard to come by. I have a prescription for it but can not get it filled. Novartis shut down one of their plants for a short period. Not sure when they are scheduled to reopen the plant. Your vet should write you a prescription without too much of a problem. Good thing that red bugs are the best pest to have. They are not really that invasive and a lot more people have them then do not.

I wonder sometimes if they really are. Almost inevitable for SPS keepers unless you QT and treat acquisitions with interceptor. In my last tank, I let them be and had no issues. Colors/growth, in my situation, seemed to be unaffected. Wonder if they only have a significant impact on "weakened" SPS and/or in less than prime conditions.

Unless you treat every acropora coral with Interceptor or the Bayer treatment before introducing into your tank you will end up with them. Most people have them and do not even know it.

If you are going to have a pest these are the ones to have. I actually have seen them at some of the top coral stores in the United States. A top online coral retailer told me that he would be willing to bet that 90 percent of all people that have acros have them. Not sure I would go that far but it is a lot.
