Problem solved!!!
Issue was that my refractomer was being stored and used at different temperatures. I would guess the total swing in temp for the tool was 10 degrees. Hottest at night before lights go off and coolest in the morning.
The difference caused a 0.005 ish change in the reading.
Edit: The warmer the tool the farther the reading dropped and the cooler the temp the higher the reading became.
Maybe this will help those who cant seem to get consistent reading and are always recalibrating.
