Internal return pump for a 30gal cube

Hey guys I'm looking for an internal return pump, something quiet, cool operatiing and low wattage. Currently I have a Pan World 30X (590gph) running. Not the most cost effective nor the most quiet pump, albeit a good pump. I'm attempting to do an overhaul on this tank to make it more efficent and quiet.

The return would be about 24" and has a SCWD plumbed inline as well. I purchased an Eco Plus pump (364gph) but after using it as a utility pump for a water change, thats a no go. I had a Mag 7 in the past and swapped to the Pan World due to the noise and heat factor of that pump.

Any thoughts on a replacement? I have considered a Sicce Syncra but not sure of which model would match up well enough.

Quietone pumps are really good insump pumps. Their quiet and put out almost no heat. I'm running one in my qt tank and it works great. I can't hear it and it's cool to the touch.

We are currently using a Mag 5 on my wife's 30g cube with a SCWD, and if I ever change the pump it will be an Eheim, no doubt. I don't have noise issues with the Mag but I know I could lose some heat by changing.
