IO 200 Gallon Box Pallet Purchase-Unofficial Group Buy

Sales are now closed. Again, thanks to all!

Bring your muscles, starting Wednesday afternoon. I will post in this thread when the 2 tons + of salt arrive!

Jenn

The salt is on its way and should be here tomorrow. It usually arrives mid-afternoon.

If I could get an idea of when people are picking up, that would be great. Rather than move all 90+ boxes inside (they will be going in the empty suite next door) we may leave some outside in the PM until they are picked up. None will be left out overnight, for obvious reasons.

Jenn

5096 lbs of salt in one go.

Would you like fries with that?

Not looking forward to moving 'em all :) That's why I'm asking about who's picking up and when.

Howard, if it arrives early enough I may send Scott tomorrow, but I'm more or less thinking Thursday. Typically the delivery comes about 2:30-ish, but we might be last given the size of the load this week.

The ARC is collectively buying 2 1/2 tons of salt!

We'll be giving the Georgia Aquarium a run before long! -LOL

Jenn- I'm in Athens tomorrow morning, but I'll come by asap to help with the bag briggade, if possible (wearing cooler clothes though).

Thank you Jenn and Dave!

I will be there Firday to pick up salt and the skimmer i bought... and probably something else.:D If i lived closer or didn't have to work i would come help unload, God knows i need the exercise.

Well fortunately I still have the keys to the space next door so we have somewhere to put it - it would be wall-to-wall boxes if not for that :)

Yep, that's a lotta salt. When you factor in the Salinity special I ran before that, I've sold over 3 tons of salt in the last month.

Another 15 lb. bag just left the shop a moment ago.

I'll be in tomorrow afternoon to pick up my share... gotta find somewhere to put it in my truck full of equipment though...

Jenn,
I'll be there to pick up mine, Slayer, and Hanin's salt on Thursday. Wednesday afternoons are busy.

No worries.

I'm getting a few PMs from folks who say they are picking up their own and someone else's.

I knew of a few of these arrangements before, but it seems there are more.

I will have a sign-off sheet that I'll ask people to sign that they received their salt, and if they are picking up someone else's, I'll ask them to sign for theirs too.

Keeps us all figured out that way.

Jenn

Jen,
I will see if I can make it late today or sometime tomorrow.

Thanks to all for setting this up

LOL! Nope not yet. I called the delivery service about half an hour ago, driver was in Kennesaw and they expected him to be here within the hour from then - that's about half an hour from now (assuming he doesn't hit any snags at any of his other stops).

I had a feeling they'd make my delivery last because of the size of the load. I think that's what may have happened.

Stay tuned...

Jenn
