Is my starfish dying?

Came home to a strange looking starfish.... what's going on with the under side of my starfish? I've only had him about two weeks, and I'll be honest I haven't really looked at it while it's on the glass that much.

I feed the task before I left around 3:30 and this is what I came back to around 10:30.

I did notice while feeding it that it caught some of the frozen reef frenzy.

That could be its stomach while believing it has found food.
Does the flesh retract once you move the star?

Yep, that's its stomach. You must have interrupted its meal.

I feed them at 3.30and this was 7 hours later. Is he still eating?

Possibly. Or it may have found something else to eat. They push out their stomach to digest stuff, then suck it back in afterward. Pretty cool, really.
