I joined a few months back and when I go to the site Sponsor's store to purchase something, they ask me for an ARC membership card to get the discount. Is there a card that I just haven't gotten yet. If so how would I go about getting one?

It took a couple months to get mine. They're nice cards and depending on how many people have been signing up, it could take a while. I believe, correct me if I'm wrong someone, you typically pick them up at the meetings. If your not there when they are brought to the meeting then they mail them.

FWIW, He didn't say someone was doing a bad job, just asked a question.

I also have not gotten mine. I went to the Oct meeting but they had not gotten through the backlog yet. Last I heard they were going to mail them out if you could not make the Nov meeting(s). Is that still the case?

I mailed out all that had been printed. I am now waiting for a rather large new batch to be mailed to me from the printer. They are coming from out of state but I hope to have them before the end of this month.

Print out your paypal receipt. I renewed in June and don't have a card yet. Store clerks get a chuckle when they see my receipt and how old it is. Another cool thing is one less thing in my wallet.

U get yours yet?

I am sure they are on top of this as fast as they can get to help. They are short handed and help needed it could have already expired good luck wish all you the best. It's in the works but see if you can offer to help I did ,But I guess thats not the right question. Fast to close a thread pull out a calendar and look. they can show you how a Calendar works but have trouble running things.

I guess thats something I need to work on cause its to hard for others. Say just let them know and they will take care of it. Would like to thank Raised On Nintendo and others that have posted that have the same problem.

Volunteer to help and you'll be able to help work on the things you see as wrong. If you won't be part of the solution, don't be part of a problem by bad mouthing the BoD and other volunteer's when you get a chance.

From your other posts, it's hard to see it any other way. Mojo, Stacy22, Smoothie and all the others are great people and always willing to help out. Be civil, send a pm and you'll probably get it resolved fairly easily.

Good deal I felt like I should volunteer to check up on some of these older post. I'll make sure Stacy knows. She's really pretty good at taking care of it when she knows what's going on.

I was thinking, why not eliminate the card? E-mail it and them it can be printed out. Kind of like you can get an insurance card e-mailed to you. Less expense for the club too.

Stores like to see the cards- it's a validation.

Plus, if I can find the resources this year, we're going to start using the bar code on the back of the card for stuff...

I hear you. I guess the sponsors would have to be OK with it.
Looking forward to hearing about the bar code ideas..............
