Is this fin rot or injury?

My pajama cardinalfish's smaller dorsal fin appears injured...he does like to swim close to a powerhead so its possible that it or another fish took a bite out of it...just wondering if it might eb fin rot...he seems healthy, is eating well and swimming all around...how long should i let it be before i start antibiotics or whatnot?

Doesn't look like rot, and it doesn't look like a new injury.

I'd leave it alone.

it was normal at least 2 days ago because i took a picture of him then so its been within the last 2 days

Fins can repair and heal surprisingly fast. Looks clean to me - I'd leave it.

If it was an injury or whatnot, in a few more days it will likely look like it never even happened.
