I'd say go with the one Dr posted....mainly because it has all clear housings. Sooooo much better to see how the filters are doing. Then again you could go with the white ones like you have posted and get a TDS meter to check the water.....though it's good to have one of those anyways.

Yeah Mark thats the one I have. For $82 thats cheaper than I paid. The clear chambers are nice but the first one is clear on that one so you know if its dirty change the rest.

I just bought one last week. Mine works great. It had a leak but I was checking for them anyway, so no flood for me!! After letting it run for about 30 minutes I checked and the TDS was zero.

+1 on the clear housings. It'll let you SEE when you need to change your sediment filters.

is it worth 50 dollars more to have clear housings. a tds meter is pretty cheap.

I say no because the first sediment filter is clear which is the one that gets dirty first. The third is a carbon.
