If it does it usually takes a while (months). What type light do you have it under? They usually appreciate a lot of light as that particular coral comes out of very shallow water typically. Beautiful by the way, I have a large one like it in my tank probably my favorite coral. I even bought a led spotlight for mine. The radiums make the sps corals nice but did not do much for the fiji yellow. You can see it in the top left of my avatar.
