Edit: I'm having fun trying to find frags that I've sold / traded in different ppls tanks haha :)

all look awesome!

Edit:

interesting rock work man...

fellow Alabama person here I'm in the Gadsden "area"

Hey, Man. I brought a car from Gadsen. I know exactly where you are. Looks like we have the same barber too. LOL...

Thanks for the compliment on the rockwork. My before picture was horrible. The new rockwork was a result of cutting back on the amount of LR, and putting it together in a way that I could get a fish out of the tank when I needed to without moving 180 pounds of LR.

Here is my before shot. I still shudder at what I had to go through when my tank crashed.

Well she said that this is it. If I change my mind no more tanks lol. She actually was onboard now she is ready for it to be finished, as in, the frag tank gone etc. Still trying to convince her on that. lol

My pride and joy... 75 gal mixed reef. For some reason I've had a couple fish die lately and also a huge birdsnest and a rbta but everything else is still kicking. 2 mm LEDs, mp10 and some koralias, sump/fuge with swc160 skimmer and BRS dual reactor running gfo and carbon. About to try biopellets. We'll see how that turns out.

and yes... there are still two rocks that have hair algae on them... but the majority of the rocks were coated in it when I got it... so I think I've done well in the last month and a half...

Great job on getting rid of the hair algae. Love corner tanks as well. WTH is eating all of your turbo snails? LOL...

I remember watching your build when you made your overflow, and everything. Good looking tank. How is that swallowtail doing? Always loved those fish, but, can't keep them alive.

He has always been easy....no trouble at all. Maybe you're taking about the 40g breeder where I was building the overflow.? Never finished that one.

This is a 120g

why do all your pictures come out tiny. You should let me snap some shots when I come back over, this is an awesome tank. The zoa rock in top right is my favorite piece in there

Here is my 60 gallon cube. I have to turn the blues off to take pics with my iphone so its pretty blah, but you get the idea.

2ruble;844666 wrote: lol... not all of those are dead... there's one on the far right by the LTA that has been in the same spot for about two weeks... but still alive and eating, not stuck... just not moving.

The bigger shell up front in sand we actually took from our honeymoon because it looked so cool... we've since had snails grow/die that big, lol

there's one front center that is dead, but the three surrounding are alive
big one in front of plate and 'fading' flower pot (hate that)... think the valentini got that one, lol

other than that... it's not starvation for sure :)

Gotcha. I had one the size of a golf ball that died. He fed my ants for about a week, then I used the shell for decorations. Lol.

When they get close to dying now, its off to the mantis tank. He loves snails. :)

Where is the build thread for the 120? Me likes...

This is one of the earliest posts .. no real build thread.. I put it up before I thought of posting on ARC back in 09.

Every coral in the system started small....

pretty cool!

The one in the middle is a purple Ora Tort of some sort. No idea what the fancy name is haha...
