Picked up a 12 gallon jbj tank and stand from a member over the weekend that I plan to make a nano reef. I also got a par38 led light to put over it, and it looks great.
I want this set up to be done right, so any input will be apprectiated.
Right now, the tank is sitting on a desk, mostly to save space, but also works out because the par38 fixture clamps on to the lip of the desk.
So far, I added about 10-12 lbs of florida crushed coral substrate and filled will RO water. Turned the pump on (maxi jet 1200). Now i'm waiting for the dust to settle down, then i'll add salt and a couple pieces of live rock to get the cycle started.
