In this instance, I think I would probably go with the Maxspect. At $260, it really isn't that outrageous considering you will only need one for most systems. It's much easier to swallow than the huge jump for other high end pumps

Interested in seeing this also, love the Jebao products but this might be too much for my 120 DD.

So the first Jebao WP pumps weren't that bad of a knock off. There were already dozens of similar pumps on the market for years and were just begging for someone to add a simple controller to them. But this one... Complete knock off. Pretty tough on Maxspect who had the original idea and made the initial investment in all the design. I wonder if Maxspect will be able to stop them being sold in the US.

If you look at the bottom of the product information page it says available everywhere but the US. I'm not completely sure Zim understanding the notation. But, it is pretty much identical to the gyre.

everywhere but the US might mean that Maxspect got them blocked from import. Wouldn't surprise me.

If they managed to actually block them... that would be a HUGE step in the right direction in saving our industry. Because this sort of thing effects our hobby in a much larger way then most people realize.

I just saw this pump and told my wife I couldn't believe how long it took a company to come out with something like this. I had something similar years ago but it was much larger. A guy came up with it and made them himself and it worked very well.
