Jebao powerheads

I've had good luck with Jebao return pumps in FW and I'm looking to order a a wave maker or pair for my 90g cube. Suggestions from Jebao?

I believe you have to have two controllers but someone else may be able to chime in. While we are on the subject though what would you all recommend for the Red Sea Max 250? Thanks!

2 x 15's on a 90 would be wayyyy overkill, I'd say the rw8's. They are really strong.

This is what I use in my SPS dominant 65. Cannot go wrong with this advice. Anything less will not be enough. If you go softies then maybe you could drop it down, but why. You can always turn them down.

It would be overkill if you use them at 100%. This is why they are adjustable. I use two 15's on my 180 at 100% but I've got 2 additional feet of water to move. Yes, the 8's would work but if you ever upgrade, they'll do you no good.

I'd have to disagree, I have 2 rw8's I ran on a 150 tall in max and that was more than enough. and currently run one rw20 on my 180 on the lowest possible setting and I have a nice wave. There's no way even at lowest setting the rw15's won't slosh water out of a 90 unless you angle them. One 15 would be fine or 2 8's.

I agree with everyone else. Definitely go with the 2x RW15. Plus the Jeabos tend to slow down a lot more then other pumps when not cleaned out properly.

I ordered two 8s for several reasons. I do think that part of the reason I've had good success with my jecod 12000s on my 210 fw is because I don't turn them all the way up.... which definitely made the 15s attractive... but Im also got a dc 8000 return and a hydor I can use in this 93g if the two 8s aren't enough. Thanks a lot fellas.

Good plan. They are very controlable so I'm sure you will have the flow you need . if not you can always add another

Anyone recommend what to get for a Red Sea Max 250? Will I even need an extra power head or will running stock be fine?

I've only got it half full, of course not running the sump. .. but these things are only on two and jjeeeeeez. I think they'll be plenty. I like the master slave wave maker. It works well.
