got my 2 Jebos today. i have heard of people bypassing the controller and controlling thru Apex. does any one know how to do this?
This is what i found on Reef 2 Reef.
If you wanted to use an apex to just control speed, but still retain the built in programs, run a
divider to get the Apex 0-10 to 0-5v, this SHOULD limit the pump speed while still
running W1, ELSE, and so on. No need to send a PWM to the 0-5 control.
Now if you want full Apex control, Use A PWM driver as mentioned pages ago by the banned
guy. Search ebay for 0-10v 12-24vdc led dimmer. its 39.99. Make an Apex cable, hook
the 24vdc to the pump, bam, full control via Apex. The Apex can do all the modes the
stock control box can do, and then some.
