I thought it would cool to see the changes from juvenile to adult hood. Here is the Chevron tang and it's change.

The scopas tang has a very small change but it's interesting to see. Any other info to share will be interesting to learn about, so post your knowledge.

i always found (freshwater) auratus cichlid fry all look the same. Then the male takes on a very different look.
(i know its not a tang, but interesting anyway)

I bought a scopas tang today and pictures I've found, they turn black from what I can tell. If anyone has seen different let me know.

Yeah they slowly go from yellow to DARK blue and they are quite agressive

The juvenile mimics the lemon peel angels which is cool in its own little way. I'm definitely getting another one when I upgrade my tank to a 300. I had one before but lost it when I had some problems a while back.

My mimic tang had a halfblack angel appearance then matured into the one pictured by Johnr. I think it is way cool that they that usually mimic a dwarf angel on the reef that they grow up on and all have the same appearance when mature.
