My wife found this at the beach and wanted to bring it home. I honestly didn't expect it to make the trip but it's been sitting in QT since Saturday without any problems. My google-fu has failed to dig up any information on the guy. Right now I'm giving it frozen brine, but I don't know if it's actually eating it or if it's just going in the shell and sitting there. Any help is greatly appreciated.

A rather large hermit lives in my QT and gave the guy a good once-over (clam didn't like it too much, haha). Looks like he took care of the 3 or so barnacles that were attached to the shell, and there doesn't seem like much else.

Sorry for the bad picture, I only had my 300mm macro on hand at the time. I'll try for a better one when I get home.

Water temp stays around 80, and he's staying open in my room temp QT, so it seems like it'll be ok on that end.
