Do any of our sponsor sell this product? Also want to purchase the new Hydor K for 150 gal tank. Bubba

Rit aquatics posted the other day that he carries it also. May I ask what you plan to achieve with it.

I have two Mandarins and a six line wrasse. I have heard so much about starving Mandarins that I have a (need) to continually add more pods and with this information that helps grow the pods.........I'll go there everyday. I also have corals, sponges, anemones, feather dusters, and clams so how could I go wrong with this product? Bubba

If it your belief that this will make your pod pop explode you are mistaken. It will feed your corals well but I worry about the preservatives. Long term effects? IME their are simpler ways of achieving the pod explosion that you desire. Do you have a fuge and macros? I have a system in which I am cultivating more pods than I ever thought I could, naturally or in other words without the addition of any additives.

Ihave no room for a fuge. I have taken a plastic basket filled it with cheeto and rubble and keep a light on it in my sump. I don't know what else to do but buy more pods OR try feeding them so they will populate on their own. What is a micro? I have a 75 gal tank, bubbleblaster 2000, gfo, 20 gal sump, 9.5 mag pump, not room for more. Bubba

Please do not, I will ship you pods and your 5 gal works perfect for a fuge:up:
Sometimes we make do with what we have.:D And I confer that 75 is just to small for 2 mandarins UNLESS you can get them eating prepared foods and you have the ability to feed multiple times per day. JMO

PM me. You are the only one on here that has given me any hope of maintaining my Mandarins. Just let me know what I have to do to prove them wrong. What kind of frozen food? Do you sell pods? I tried to go to your sponsor site and filled on the information section. Thanks, Bubba:yay:

WELLLLLLL, not sure you can prove them wrong. I would barely consider 1 mandarin in a 75 if it were established (over 9 months) with proper fuge and no food competition. 2 is just ........not impossible but might as well be.

There are several things you can do to increase your pod population and IMO the best and easiest way is to add a larger volume of water to your system.

Adding tons of DTs or excessive amounts of phytoplankton can and will affect your water quality and health of your fish.

Things you can do right now are add 15-20 pounds of rubble rock into you fuge and sump.

How long has this tank been going? How many #s of rock. How long have you had these guys.

Tank has been established for 6 years. 85# lr Mandarins have been here for 3 months. If I hang my gfo outside the sump I can make more room. How do I add more volume to my system?

If you're going to try frozen foods, try Rod's Foods. Just the regular stuff works great for mandarins. Mine converted over in like 2 days a year & a half ago when we got it. He eats literally anything now.
