Kobayashi MIA

Our 1 yr old Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, Kobayashi, went MIA about a week ago. I'm totally at a loss as to where he went off to.

He's not anywhere in the tank, and has been gone long enough that he's not just hiding to molt or anything. The rock is mature and old enough that we don't have any predator crabs. I checked the overflow, plumbing, sump, etc. Nothing. Not a TRACE.

My only thought is that our 5" flower anemone ate him... Crazy stuff...

When we first got Kobay, he would steal food from EVERYONE including the nem. Recently the nem has gotten so big that when the shrimp went to steal food, he'd get snatched and a leg or a tentacle would get tugged until he would break away. Guess his luck ran out. Go figure... $20 nem eats a $30 shrimp! LOL...

LOL... Scratching my head, checking the overflow, sump, floor saying "where'd the shrimp go?!?" is one thing. Walking in and saying "Hey! Where's the SHARK?" is completely another league...
