I going to get a Koralia nano today and Im trying to figure out which one would be best for my 14g Biocube. The 240 gph or the 425 gph. Also if anyone has pistures of placement idea would be awesome.
Thanks in advance

I have a Biocube14G and I opted for the Nano for less flow and heat. This turned out to be a good decision because the nano beats on some of my coral pretty well so I'd be scared to put anything in the direct path of something with double the power. I know it sounds like a terrible idea, but I placed my nano on the upper right hand corner of the glass right beside the surface skimmer. It really helps cross up the flow pattern and actually doesn't hinder the skimming if you find the right direction to point it. I also am using the upgraded MJ900 return pump and the hydor rotating flow deflector. All my corals love the flow right now and that ranges from zoas/palys, to LPS (torch, hammer, chalice, etc.), and SPS (encrusting montipora). Let me know if I can help with anything else or if I wasn't specific enough on something.

My old roommate had a Koralia 1 in his 14g biocube and there was a whole lot of flow going on in there, his richordias hated it. I would say the nano is a good choice. If you do go with the nano, be sure to remove the magnet on the inside as there has been problems with corrosion, the suction cup is enough to hold the power head.

I had both at the same time in an aquapod 24gal but they were on a 15 minute/hour timer

I would go with the 425's unless you have a 5g tank. I had 2x425's in a 24g Aquapod and felt it was barely sufficient even with the return pump being upgraded.
