Koralia or Vortech?

I have a 24 X 24 X 12 that needs some kind of flow. I was thinking about getting 2 X Koralia 1's or a single Ecotech Vortech MP40 or MP20 pump. What I really want is random waves and surges in opposite direction. I was electricuted by Koralia pumps before (twice), so I am willing to pay more for the peace of mind added by the Vortechs since it's out of the water.

Which one should I get?

I already have 600gph on the return with the Iwaki pump.

Vortech. I sent you a PM about a group buy where they are $40 less. I was NEVER impressed with they hydors. You get what you pay for.....

If you're considering non-controllable powerheads, I'd reccomend the tunze 6025-Very impressive lil' pumps.

if you are avoiding tunzes, go with the vortecs- no doubt. Besides, I dont think the koralias are designed for wavemaker purpose, so they wont last nearly as long if used in that application.
