I was wanting some input on where I should place my Koralia 425 in my 14g biocube.

Right now I have it on the rightside glass(if you are looking at the tank) pointing directly accross the tank, but didn't know if this was the best placement for it to maximize the flow.

For those not familar with the BC setup the main return pump is on the leftside back wall if you are looking at the tank.

Thanks.

That would be a perfect place for mine as well because my rock is more to the leftside of the tank.

I had mine in the same place pointing at the return with an upgraded pump to a maxi jet to create a strong force of current kind of like a clash.

+1

this is the only place i have found that everything in my tank isnt being blasted..it is facing toward the glass on the front side slightly to the left if youre looking at it from the front...the return pump nozzle is facing the left side glass

Thanks yall.

I am going to try moving it to the backwall this evening.

I have two korallia 425's in my 29. One on the left top side and one on the right top side. The opposing forces cancel each other and creates a natural turbulance. Maybe you could try this with two 245gph korallia's. just a thought.
