I am getting tired of the heat produced by my metal halides on a 185 gallon (60 inches long, 24 inches deep) and would appreciate suggestions as to a LED fixture(s). I keep primarily LPS with a large carpet anemone so I need a good bit of light. Thanks!

LPS and Softies love LED lighting, you will be very happy you made the change.
In regards to what you should buy, that comes down to personal preferences and budget.
Budget first and foremost, you will be looking at 3 light fixtures most likely.
If on a tight budget, I would consider just about any chinese 120W fixture that can be had on eBay for around $125 a piece. Reef breeders are a little better, with better support, but also cost a little more.

If price is not a concern, then either Aqua Illumination (Sols, Hydras, or Vegas) or Ecotech Radions. They are by far the most popular among discerning reef keepers. These units are going to cost you between $400-$750 a piece.

There are many more manufacturers and models to choose from, these are just some of the more popular options. Again, it really comes down to budget and personal preferences.

I'm with BGCoop on the Reefbreeder. I love mine. Lots of light and it looks good. Great price point too.

I'm happy with my reefbreeders photon 48 as well. I just switched over from MH after having them for a year.

I was looking at the ATI Sirius X8 as a possibility over my tank except they are a bit pricey. I'd bite the bullet on this fixture if it will be ideal. Thanks for your input.
