I run both at 100% and it is a little too blue for my liking. But I am weird in that I prefer a whiter tank than most. At 100% it is probably 20000k to 22000k

Narrow. In three sections 24x24 this is more spread than kessil suggest but tank is 30" deep. . The tank braces would create shadows anyway if I had the wide.

Gotcha. So do you think the wide was probably a good choice for me with a 30" cube that is only 16" deep?

Yes for 30" I would get the wide angle. But narrow would work too. You just would have to raise it some to get rid of the cone effect. Mine are 12" above the water. Mounted flush with the inside of the canopy

The gooseneck is short. My a150 has a much wider angle than I realized once I was able to get it higher. You could easily cover 30" of spread I'm sure

I ordered the straight extension as well so that I could move it up if needed. I kinda liked the way it looked as well.

I'd like to hear how you like it. I haven't heard anything bad about them yet. I was going to go with a 150, but I built my own led setup and love it.

And the shimmer. Oh the shimmer. The best way to describe it is kaleidoscope effect. Nothing I have seen shimmers like a kessil.
