It seems most of the LED setup are the box type LEDs that hang. I wanna see other setups when hanging isnt an option. I would like to see if you built a canopy type stand or some other type of mount. Need help on how im gonna do this on my 120.

I took one of the Evolution Hanging LED's apart and installed it in my Red Sea Max canopy and I couldn't be happier. These will also fit in the oceanic and jbj bio-cubes. It's an easy upgrade!

The AI rails have grooves to place the AI fixture
In. Not sure these black fixtures have the same grooves so not sure how that would work.

It has come down a lot. Fixtures cost almost the same as DIY in some cases

you can get the AIs for a good price now. check RC, people are throwing them up for $300. the phoenix should be out soon

Wow...maybe in the spring with tax refund money I can finally get a couple.

I'd give a frag or 2 of Zoas if someone would help me come up with a design for rails or something else to
Mount these LEDs onto.

Man... pop rivets and angle aluminium from HD... that's how I did mine....

Then I just set it inside my canopy. Cost me maybe $40 - including the rivet tool and rivets.

Home depot if u want it bend to the angle u like and mount it like they do the solona 34 disco ball. I can send a graph if u give me dimensions of the tank.

Here's a roughy drawing of course u can make rail
More exact and better looking

Edit: With a center brace

Same as mine.... I'll get you a picture after while if it sounds like something you're interested in. I might even be able to find a day to help you build it.

It was super easy. Relatively cheap. Only took me about 30 minutes to build and another hour for paint.
