Hey, Im wondering if this product is good.

Im planning on getting 453nm. Anyone have any experience with them (like their brightness, lifetime, etc.)?

i just bought a couple of those from einstein aquatics for the same price. u might wanna check over there so u don't have to pay S&H.

I have a 'mixed' blue/white Stunner in a 2 bulb Eclipse hood on a 10 gal microreef I set up. My only problem is the heat from the T-8's. So I'm planning to mod it with a muffin fan. So far, so good. Nothing in there that requires a lot of light though. The Stunner's strength IMO is their small footprint. You can get them into a tight space, which was my main criteria. I am considering adding a second (all blue) one, mainly because I have space for it. I also had 24 VDC power supplies laying around which I am using. That saved me the $20 extra bucks for that-FWIW.

well, i still can't see for a whole week after staring into them!

but they are stunner strips. I got the blue ones. they seem really bright to me. i'd stuggest u call him before heading over there. cuz it seems like a far drive for u. plus, if u didn't know, he shop is in his basement of a house.

Yeah its about 40 min, but I will make sure to email or call him before the road trip. haha Yeah I think im going for the blue ones to.
Thank you

just don't be freaked out when u pull up to a residential house. u are not lost, that's his place.

i'm not trying to sound like a parent. but it's storming and raining pretty bad here right now. u might wanna wait till it calms down. but that's on u.

Jenn has just one of the 12 watt Ecoxotic modules (12 x 1 watt LED's) in her nano on the register desk. The Stunner is a 6 watt strip and smaller dimensionally (24 x 1/4 watt LED's). Both are ~12 inches long.

Here is a link to the Ecoxotic web site and the Panorama module, which Jenn uses at Imagine Ocean on her nano. These modules are also the basic unit for their hoods, which contain multiples of these 12 watt Panoramas.
