I have a 60x24x30 tank that I am almost ready to get going.

Just wondering which led setup will have the best cost to par comparison? I will want to keep a clam on the sand. I need to see how much money I have to hide from my wife.

I am using the AIs Sol Blue units and really like them, but I have heard nothing but great things about the Member Modified LED units that are going around here. Sounds like everyone is getting good growth and color out of their corals and the price is better than anything else I have seen.

I will have a member modified for sell. I may also have an EShine 3G unit for sale. Both are 50x3w LED. The major difference is that the MM unit has no optics and is running at full power. The EShine unit has 60 degree optics (great for corals and getting light deeper in the tank) and is running at 2 watts per LED yet it puts out more PAR. I'm also working on an EShine group buy right now. Price lists available by email only.

Actually, I believe the Member Modified do not run at full power. I did a group buy thread on them that gives a lot of good info on them if you want to do some research. The thread is located at http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=69175">http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=69175</a>

While the group buy is over, I can put you in touch with the right person if you decide you want to go this route. You can also add optics to them if you desire.
