LEDs from ebay

Well I just got the lights 3 hours ago and have them over my tank. I'll update as to how well they work. I will say it is super super bright, great shimmer so far.

My son had to turn his waaaayyyyy down after having halides because the LEDs were frying his corals. I think he had a thread on it, his username is jenkins2212.

Because barely any R+D goes into these? They are made with subpar components? They are backed by almost zero customer service? Most are made from crappy bin LEDs? There are hundreds of reasons these should be called "knock off."

With that said, some of these do OK for mixed tanks, but I haven't seen many completely sustain a thriving SPS tank.

I don't think this light would be suitable for any sps tank, however with just softies I think it will work just fine. The par is pretty good, and so is the spectrum. It's just a wait and see with these kind of things.

LG is this particular model. The company is LED light grower.... Kind of a odd name but they seem to work.
