I have three sets of the MM LED's and they are not bright enough and there are too many dark areas they do not reach. Has anyone added any kind of clip-on that would help in this situation? Bubba

It could be the optics. What degree optics are on them? If there are none, then your light is displaced at 120 degrees and that's the problem.

I am running 3 on my 6' long by 24" tall and they are a about 8" off the water. No optics. Mine are the dimmables and so far I am up to about 80% and even at that level it is great light. No dark spots at all.

Do you know of a small MH that can clip-on. I just got rid of my old MH and ballast for these new LED's. Do the smaller MH need a ballast? Bubba
