There going to be three inches from each other. PH, ORP, Temp....

That sump blew out a year ago...seam split...and ooops your right I better empty that...only have to do it like once a month or 2

I was wondering where that tall tank was too. Looks like my skimmer. I will be posting the sump I designed and made in the next few hrs. Just finishing some caulking and letting it dry.

And I'd never have a sump that wasn't acrylic. You just have to have it made by someone who knows what they're doing... :)

I bet the guys with failed glass cages tanks can say the same thing about glass tanks.

Acrylic sumps are the best! :)

Never saw or heard of a Rubbermaid tub failing... polyethylene sumps are the best

I'm pretty sure Charlie has one with a crack! :lol2:

Poly sumps are a pretty sweet deal though.

My only issue with this is the choice of acrylic. Why not clear? I personally have to see in my sump...too much going on. The design though, awesome!

This is actually not acrylic, it's polypropylene. Why not acrylic? To fabricate an acrylic sump of this size would require a very thick acrylic. Thick acrylic is uber expensive.

Poly, on the other hand, it air-welded together, so you can use a thinner material and save a TON of money.

I don't need to see what's going on through the sides as I know what's going on! This will also always look clean, whereas the acrylic one will look pretty gross over time.

And for those of you who don't use filter socks...you're missing out BIG TIME!
