Jager on quarantine tanks and 2 800 watt Finnex on the display

Regardless of the brand of the heater, I like to get the smallest wattage that can get the job done, such that even if it gets stuck on for some reason it can't cook the tank. For a total ~75 gallon system that role is satisfied by a 100w heater. For a 10g quarantine tank I only use a 25w heater.

In Jax? As in dirty Duval? I don't run a heater on my display. My nano I run a small Jager and plan to replace annually while plugged to a thermostat kill switch.

I use whatever is cheapest and control/monitor it with my apex.
