Right now im running the phenoix 14k but my coral is not as happy as when I had 10k bulbs. The 10k just looks to yellow. Has anyone ever used 12k bulbs and if so do they have more blue tint then the 10k? My lights are 150w and I would like to have 250w but im not having any luck selling my fixture. What should I do?

i agree with previous poster.. You'll need 250w to get down that deep.

I think the issue with your corals not being happy is that you are using a bluer lamp and it MAY be outputting less PAR than the 10k.. ALTHOUGH Pheonix 14k is pretty highly ranked if i remember correctly. To use a higher K lamp you will probably want to consider going to at least a 250w

LOL.. Its posted right above.. Its a 210 thats about 30" deep and amazing!

Pop some of those Lumenmax fixtures in the canopy J-dog.. they are awsome..

Or you can do Lumenbrite Mini relectors, if you have enough space to place the bottom of the reflector 12" above the water.
