Light Updgrade for Coralife biocube 29g

Does anyone have any knowledge of Cost-effective lighting upgrades I can do to my Coralife biocube 29g without having to get rid of the stock hood? Preferably some kind of retro-fit into the existing spot where the fluorescents currently reside. Any help/suggestions would be amazing. Thanks so much.

The biocube I had was running a nanobox retrofit. Worked really well. Great control with the bluefish controller. For the biocube you would need a large kit.

Other than that, you could always cut the hood to install a fixture on top. If you want to keep the current look, the retrofit route would be best.

I use steves led retrofit on my biocube and love it. Its not cheap but it will grow anything just as they say on the website
