Ok so i'm borrowing a PFO ballast and before start hacking up the wire is there any sort of adapter for the ballast that would connect to a 5 side house shaped connector??

I'm talking about the cable to the light steve

James, on that second link it would need to be female connector that looks like the picture

Dang pic did not load, the end on my connector looks like the 360 plug
 
haha I know. My schedule is a little more freed up with spread out classes now... so I can by sometime and test the PAR... If I can get it from Derek tomorrow.
 
Steve that would great but i still but only if i can figure out how to fire the ballast
 
Basically he has the ballast and a pigtail with the mail end for the ballast. Then the light he is wanting to run has a different plug. I say just cut into it and splice in the pigtail I gave you.

Yea i'm guessing that is what i'm going to have to do, just not comfortable with my electrical skills and my parents don't want me to hurt me self
