First thanks everyone with help on resealing my tank its all resealed and the tape trick is by far the best advice. Now that its sealed and curing im on to the next step of my build. My tank is 135g and just over 24" deep. I have the aquaticlife fixture t5 8x39w. I know in my previous tanks and research this is probably not going to be enough for lets say a clam on sand bed. So has any one supplemented T5 with a DIY led fixture. Im thinking of doing 2 36" x 1.25" rapidled fixtures. This will accomedate 36 3w leds.By my count thats 420w of light which im not sure if 1w T5 light is equal to 11w led. If you would, Would you do actinc supplement or full spectrum arangement? Or am I over complicating my build.

Edit: Oh to make a long story longer. My tank has a 20ish" (dont rember the length) by .5" thick glass brace inwhich im not sure changes a whole lot but has to effect the light a little.

I would probably do actinic supplements and let your other colors come from your t5 bulbs. Give the buildmyled fixtures a look as well. Wattage per gallon was never really a good rule to begin with......even less useful with LED's.
