Lighting Question

Hi, I thought we were talking about a much smaller tank than a 90 gallon.....

While all the same principles would apply, I would use true reef lighting on a tank that large. Why go to such an expense maintaining that much water and limit yourself with the lighting choices?

Yeah, we've pretty much scrapped the walmart bulb idea... Just trying to look at all our options..although we may try that on our 29 for the puffer and star that will be the only ones in there.


I'm really liking the T5 idea, much cheaper sounds like and cooler... But at the same time, Kinda want the quality of the MHs...

What if we put our existing setup in the canopy ALONG WITH a T5 thats 55w?

I've never owned T-5s, so my input is very limited, but good luck and happy reefing
