This is trivial but having time off has given me too much time to think. I've seen it before but this live rock (Fiji) I added to my tank is now covered with tiny dark spots which gives it a "not-so-nice" appearance. Now, compared to the rock already in the tank (covered in coralline), this rock is covered in something else not so appealing. Has anyone had this before? The rock has been in the tank for a few months now, with little coralline. Could it be cyano? It's not covered like algae, it's more like a film (but not quite b/c there are a bunch of very tiny spots or colonies). If you've seen Keen Reef's main tank (before he moved) live rock you would know what I mean. I know some people don't care but it detracts from the asthetics I think.
