Local source for 3/4" flexible pvc (aka spa flex)? Need to drop return line through 2 floors - not going to happen with rigid pvc without cutting the drywall in multiple places. HD & Lowes only carry 1" plus. Thanks.

Why 3/4"?

Edit: Just seems like a long distance for 3/4" If can upsize the pipe you will drastically reduce the friction head loss.

Very tight openings between the headers and floors I have to fish both lines through. Would make it easier, but I may have to go 1". Pump is rated at 39' head max and I'm only going around 20'- not too worried about friction loss.

Gotcha. Maybe a pool company may have it. Did you try HD Supply?

What about 3/4" nonmetallic sealtight electrical flex conduit.. It should work out just fine. Any electrical supply house would sell it and HD would have it in 25' or 100' pieces. It is PVC just like plumbing. But it's grey. They use it for flex between AC units and the disconnects.

<span style="font-family: Arial">mcmaster carr (they have a location on the west side of town) carries what they call</span><span style="font-family: Arial"> "Flexible Standard-Wall (Schedule 40) Clear PVC Unthreaded Pipe"</span>. Reading the description it sounds like the spaflex we use except it's clear. Only problem may be that it comes in 5 and 10 foot pieces. Don't know if a coupling would get in your way. :dunno: I've never used it, just sounded like an option.

Bend this pipe around objects—fewer connections not only saves you installation time, but also means less friction in fluid handling applications.
Connect unthreaded fittings and pipe by cementing the pipe end (male) into the socket end (female) using a http://www.mcmaster.com/#Standard%20PVC%20Pipe%20Cement">primer and cement</a>.

Thanks guys. For others that might be looking or later search, I got it from Lusk Pools right down the road from me. Great price too.

Fishing that pipe through 2 floors made fishing speaker wire seem like a picnic. Typical aquarium project - took 3 times longer than planned.
