who keeps them in a reef successfully? and what things can i not put in a reef with this fish in there?
 
They're risky to snails, hermits and ornamental shrimp, and smaller fishes.

Otherwise, great fish - lots of personality.

I had one had it killed a neon dottyback and a chalk bass, I will never have another one
 
Never had a problem with mine attacking anything that I know of. He's in with a (big) fire shrimp and quite a few snails and hermits. I'd be cautious with small shrimp though. I put a few ghost shrimp in once and they were gone in about two seconds.

Great personality. Probably worth the compromise unless you are attached to having little shrimp.
 
Make sure you have a top on your tank. Ours jumped out of the tank one night. They have lots of personality and are fun to watch. Ours made a Mushroom Leather coral his hangout.

so larger shrimp there is no issue? what about juvie clowns?
