This is just selective breeding, like dogs. However I will admit, selectively breeding abnormalities such as this does start to raise an eyebrow. But one could say that with any of the designer clowns stripped of natural clown color could have tragic results in the wild.
With that I think we have to lump them all in as domestic pets. Just like my Frenchies whom have been bred to become completely, 100% reliant on humans for survival.
