loud pump MAG3

ok.. just powered up a magdrive 3 for my frag tank and it has a pretty strong vibratory hum to it...

i cant seem to find the point of vibration, but it seems to be the pump itself.

will this pump "break in" and and up quieter ? or is there another issue?

snow man its prob the housing, if it cracks in the center they will do that, it holds the center of the shaft still

take off the 4 scres and examine the center it should have a cirlce with 3 attaching pieces to the sides,

What Smallblock said. Check the volute. 2 minute fix if that's what it is.

you should hear my mag 24 and mag 18 together in my sump....only thing that makes them slightly quieter is some thick rubber underneath them
