ohkay so i recently broke down my 150 and set up a 30 cube. i used some water from the 150 and the rest with fresh rodi water. i used livesand and live rock from the 150. so i recently got some lps like hammer, frogspawn, and torch coral. they did fine for like 4 days and now they wont open. all of the other corals are doing great. like candycanes, clam, acans, zoas, chalice, and mushrooms and maybe a few more but all are doing great color and puffy. i checked water perams and all are in tact. ammonia 0 phosphate 0 nitrates 0 and nitrites 0. ca is 430 alk 9.0 and mg 1300. light is an aqua medic 250w halide time is like this 8:00 am light is on along with a reefbrite flat moon light which is one 3 watt blue led just to give the tank a little more blue. halide goes off at 4:30pm. and the moon light stays on all the time. idk why everything is doing good except those light is 14k any help will be nice thanks

I am very new but I have found that if you give them a coral dip and spot feed them they will get better sometimes. I have applied this because of something I read on RC. Try it and let me know how it goes.

coral dip in what??

I use Seachem Reef Dip which is mainly Iodine and it has worked for me or if you have lugols even better.

Raise your light more. I had a 250 on my 30 cube and I had my light 16 inches up so I would not burn my corals.

Often times corals will take a little time to adapt to new lighting situations and flow dynamics. I would not recommend dipping at this time as it will likely cause undo stress.

<p style="text-align:left">could be flow also they like low flow but will adjust over time to higher rates you can also move the coral to a dimmer part of the tank so it can adjust
