So I have a single female lyretail anthias and it has been the most dominant fish in the tank for the past several months, but last week it was acting odd and only coming out when eating time a was skidish, and now over the past 3 days it did not come out to eat and just hides. One possible reason that I have looked up is it a transitioning to a male I will say with the few glances I have gotten of it look like it has longer dorsal fin and slightly different color but it might just be wishful thinking. No other fish in the tank has become more aggressive towards it. I am really just lost as to what to do. It used to follow me around the tank. It could be sick I am really not sure anyone have any thoughts?

Not any more i unfortunately figured out the cause, parasites on the Gills I lost 3 fish hopefully not more, I added a new fish in not long ago so I assumed that is where they got it

I had gill flukes come in on three anthias not too long ago and it can progress to other fish. Are you able to treat with prazipro? It took me three treatments and I lost a couple fish during treatment
