Mag 12 enough for 175 gallon??

I recently switched from my Mag 24 to my old Mag 12 due to higher temps. The temp is down and so is the noise from the pump. I just wanted to see what everyone thought about a mag 12 with 2 returns for a 175 gallon tank?? Or should I switch back to the mag 24?

FWIW, I use a mag 12 for my 210...


for filtration- sometimes a slower pump allows for better contact time. Instead of flushing water through your system, it allows for the bacteria to have more time to eat the nasties.
