Mag 7?'s

Just got a Skimmer and I seem to be having a little trouble with the mag 7 that was on it. Plugged it in ans nothing happened..... could it need a new impeller or is the pump shot?

Take the cover off and see if the impeller is stopped up, jammed, etc. I had a mag 12 whose impeller plastic split along the axis, and swelled up when the internal magnets swelled due to corrosion. the impellers can be replaced, and it is most likely the pump is fine, and the impeller is jammed...

I use a screw driver to turn the propeller a couple times. No need to take it apart. Just make it spin a few times and try the pump again.

Muriatic acid soak, helped me every time...

Well see I tried taking cover off and the impeller seems to be fine. I will post a pic of everything tomorrow. But I put it back together and still nothing.
